Ways to Get Coffee Stains Out of Your Favorite Comfortable Shoes

From time to time spills happen. Some of them leave stains that are easier to get out than others. One common spill is coffee, and not only does this get spilled on clothes, it also often gets spilled on shoes. This can sometimes be difficult to remove, but you can still rescue your comfortable shoes with a little trial and error.

First of all, you should try to rinse off any coffee spilled on your comfortable shoes right away. It is usually easiest to remove stains when they first occur. Many times cool water is all that is necessary. You can blot at the stain with a white cloth or paper towel in order to get as much of the coffee off of the shoes as possible.

This product is usually good for removing most stains, including coffee, so as long as it doesn't mess up the color of your shoes you can try it for other stains.

Not only will these treatments work on your shoes, they will also work on clothing as well in most cases. Just be sure that if the item is dry clean only you bring it to the dry cleaners rather than experimenting yourself. And, of course, you will want to test the treatment on part of the material that doesn't show before using it to treat the stain.

Comfortable shoes can be hard to find, so it is always nice to keep them wearable and looking nice as long as possible. With the stain treatment methods above it should be easier to do this, as one or another should successfully remove the stain. This will make it so that you can continue to wear your most loved shoes for a long time. Of course this doesn't mean that you can't go out and buy new ones should you find some that you like. You can never have too many shoes.
